For a child with a life-threatening medical condition, a wish experience can give back what the illness takes away. It can help children forget about being sick…remember how to be kids…laugh out loud…and inspire them to keep making plans for the future.
You can help grant a wish to a child in your community. There are many ways to ensure the continued mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Volunteering is a great way to help. We invite you to share the power of a wish® whether you can give a few hours each month or a few days each year.
You can help make the wishes of special children come true in your community when you become a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Eastern North Carolina. Our mission is only possible with the dedication of our volunteers.

Every wish is a unique and memorable experience for the wish child, the wish family and all those who participate in the wish. And many donors say they began their support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and its endearing mission after hearing a child’s memorable wish story.
Now you can help create more heartwarming stories for children with life-threatening medical conditions through the Adopt-A-Wish program. This giving option allows donors to fund a single wish experience in its entirety.
