After having visited Walt Disney World Resort® several times, 10-year old Sarah from Morrisville wished to experience the magical world of Disney in a new way — by boat. Sarah’s wish to go on a Disney Cruise included her parents and cousin, Jenna, from Connecticut. Sarah was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was only seven months old. She’s been through a lot, and this cruise let Sarah relax with her fathe-night-before-departure.jpgmily for a few days with her only worries being which activity to participate in!

After finding out that she was going on the cruise, Sarah’s mom said Sarah was “sooo excited.” Sarah, a Special Olympic horseback riding gold-medalist, celebrated with a party in her honor before she set sail for the Bahamas. She even received gear from her favorite movie, High School Musical! Even though her favorite actor, Zac Efron, couldn’t make it to the party, Sarah loved her gifts. The party guests, from Adopt-A-Wish® sponsor TekSystems, all signed a “Bon Voyage” sign wishing her a great time on the trip.

Mickey, Minnie and Goofy spent time with Sarah, and she even dressed up like a pirate. She spent her time soaking up the sun, and when she got home she told everyone, “I had lots of fun!”

This smile says it all!

This wish was adopted by TekSystems.
